A Farewell to ScholarIQ

To our community of learners, builders, and dreamers…

ScholarIQ began in a high school classroom with a simple, ambitious mission: to bridge the gap between curiosity and the cutting edge. We saw a need for a new kind of STEM community-one that didn’t just follow a curriculum and method of learning through rote but pushed into the frontiers of technology to empower students to build the future.

What started as a vision grew into a global journey to educate the world. We are incredibly proud of what we achieved together:

• We successfully launched our Intro to Quantum Computing course, educating over 112 students across three countries.
• We had the privilege of supporting student-led projects by providing critical compute resources-from a student in Africa developing secure document verification signage to a developer building an app to combat gender-based violence.

Running a nonprofit without outside funding is a labor of love, but to reach the next level of execution and scale our technical infrastructure, significant investment is required. After much reflection, we have decided that it is time to close this chapter of ScholarIQ.

While the platform is signing off, the mission of innovation doesn’t end here. The technical gaps we identified and the brilliance of the students we met have left a lasting impact on us. We hope that for you, ScholarIQ was a spark that ignited a lifelong pursuit of knowledge.

In 2023, Matthew founded ScholarIQ to teach Quantum Computing and other Emerging Technologies and actively contributes to technological discussions through Medium and his YouTube channel. He is dedicated to educating and serving the next generation of tech innovators with educational resources both abroad and in his home country!

To continue providing high-level technical resources and specialized courses, we reached a point where significant outside investment and a larger technical team were necessary. As a self-funded, student-led nonprofit, we decided to sunset the platform to ensure we could maintain the integrity of the work we’ve already accomplished rather than compromise on quality.
